an important foodway that is seriously represented in our community, that is the american community is the use of cakes and other sweets at birthdays and other celebrations. Americans all over the country eat some kind of sweet food during birthdays, most often cakes. Cake is almost always eaten at weddings too. oh and cake is super delicious but i dont think thats the reason most people eat it on special occasions, to be honest i think it has more to do with tradition than anything
